Earth Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. On Tuesday 22 April 2026 the third edition of ABK Earth Day will take place at ABK Stuttgart Weißenhof Campus. It will be a day of student-led actions and projects continuing to raise environmental awareness at the academy. This year we open our doors to the public. Everybody is welcome — Please help us to spread the word!

Mitbringen musst du nur ein altes Tshirt zum bedrucken und eine Grafik, als pdf oder jpg. Jeder entstandene Sieb wird in einer Mappe gesammelt, so haben andere später auch noch die Möglichkeit ihre alten Textilien mit deinem Motiv zu verschönern.

■6. Draw the Climate Crisis

In dem Workshop arbeiten wir bewusst mit Kohle, dem Material, das sinnbildlich für eine der Ursachen der Klimakrise steht. Was hier als Zeichenwerkzeug dient, ist zugleich ein Werkzeug für Ausbeutung, Emissionen und Umweltzerstörung. Somit nutzen wir das Produkt selbst, um auf seine Folgen aufmerksam zu machen. Die Spuren auf dem Blatt verweisen auf die realen Spuren in der Welt, wie verbrannte Landschaften, Kolonialismus, verschmutzte Luft, aufgeheizte Atmosphären, Kriege oder alles, was du selbst damit verbindest.
Komm am Earth Day vorbei und teile deine Gedanken. Du kannst bleiben, solange du willst oder einfach eine kleine Skizze machen und wieder gehen, wenn du magst.
Wenn du dich länger austoben möchtest, vergiss nicht: Kohle hinterlässt Spuren… auch auf den Klamotten:)
